Design of a rectangular studio of 30 square meters. M., which is located in St. Petersburg, was developed by the authors Andrei and Alyona Timonina for a young girl according to her wishes: to equip a living room, kitchen, bedroom in a small square and to keep as much as possible free space.
The project draws attention to the unusual and original layout - the main component is the construction in the form of a cube, where the kitchen and the bedroom are equipped. A small area of the apartment is very well divided into functional areas and, at the same time, is not without a sense of integrity. The design is made in a modern style using light shades and wood texture, which allowed to visually expand the room and create home comfort.
Layout
Living area
In the recreation area there is a set of low-volume soft furniture, a rectangular table of simple design and a white-colored cabinet. It also equipped a workplace, complete with a shelf for books and other things. A TV panel and a ceiling-mounted projector make it easy to watch TV shows and movies.
Attention is drawn to suspensions with geometric shapes. Basically they are designed for decoration, and sufficient lighting provide overhead ceiling lights.
Sleeping area
The bedroom is located inside the cube, therefore it is hidden from a direct view, despite the location in the central part of the apartment. On the podium there is a double bed, above it there are shelves with decor and bedside lamps.
Kitchen area
The set of minimalist design with white facades, installed in a cube and on the opposite side, forms a working area and storage space for accessories and products. To finish the apron used practical glass. Bright illumination of the working area fully compensates for the lack of natural light.
Hallway
Hall in the design of a rectangular studio of 30 square meters. The apartment is highlighted by a porcelain stoneware floor and is equipped with a seat, a mirror and a holder for trempels. The view from the entrance to the apartment shows an interesting combination in the corridor of white color on the right side and the texture of the tree on the left.
Bathroom
Despite the small area (3.9 sq. M.), The bathroom contains everything you need, including a built-in wardrobe and shelves for accessories above the toilet and in the shower. The decoration is tiled with gray tones and includes eye-catching fragments with a beautiful pattern. Light bulbs act as a decor and successfully complement the interior of the room. Under the dressing table is a convenient drawer for storing supplies.
