The design of a nursery for children of different sexes is usually made in two colors - blue and pink, trying to divide a room into two separate spaces for each child. But this traditional solution is not without its drawbacks, and, moreover, it is fairly standard, and therefore unattractive.

Colour
The main colors of the interior are gray, cream, turquoise. Individual items have a thick coffee and an intense yellow color.
The use of yellow in the design of the children's room for heterosexual children helped to get away from the banal pink-blue combination, and create an atmosphere of a sunny day and joyful confidence. The gray tones soothe and tune in to the concentration needed when doing homework. Turquoise hues create expressive contrast and depth.
Materials
Finishing materials, according to the design of the children's room for two children, were selected according to two main criteria: environmental characteristics and price.

The furniture is minimalist, has simple lines, and is made of fiberboard plates. Lightness and lightness of the interior give chairs with transparent seats, based on light metal structures.
Storage
The storage system in the design of a nursery for children of different sexes is designed in such a way as to occupy as little space as possible and at the same time to accommodate everything necessary.
- A large open shelving unit is designed for books, at the bottom of which designers can be stored in boxes.
- Under the TV there are boxes for toys, you can also store disks, albums there.
- Corner wardrobe has two hangers - one for each of the children, as well as shelves and drawers in the required quantity.
- Under the lower berth there are two deep drawers for bedding or seasonal items.
- Steps leading to the second tier have considerable depth and can be used as an open rack.
Lighting
During the daytime, the room is sufficiently illuminated with natural light from the panoramic window. The design of the children's room for two children provides enhanced lighting for workplaces: in addition to table lamps with legs with variable geometry above them, they reinforced two glass luminaires of a semi-circular shape.
Additionally illuminated play and television areas, their lighting provide overhead lights on the ceiling. As a bedside lighting are used sconces, which can serve as nightlights.
Decor
The use of decor in the interior of a children's room for heterosexual children is minimal: white vases and a large hourglass. The color of the sand echoes the color of the cushions. The gray curtain creates expressive contrast with light walls and emphasizes the bright colors of the finish.
In addition to it, tulle was used on the windows, giving volume to the room. The most active decorative element in the room is the full-size statue of a bulldog in silver color.
